Career
Verónica has close to 8 years of professional experience as an engineer, professor, and social research, she led a project regarding to solid waste management in scholar environment in Villavicencio, Colombia, also she was local lead of SEIN – Flora waste management, this project consists in environmental education for inhabitants in Usme, Bogotá with participatory methods between community and students from Javeriana University. This project aims to increase the community knowledge related with solid waste management and circular economy as a model of sustainability. Since 2018 she was teaching as a university professor for environmental engineering and civil engineering in different universities.

Verónica enjoys swimming, skating, and running to get more relaxing, she really loves visiting her parents in a farm close to Bogotá just to see landscape between river and mountains.
